Archiving a client

When you stop seeing a client, archive their record rather than deleting it — your records-retention obligations under state law and professional ethics typically run several years past the last date of service.

Archived clients:

  • Don’t appear in the active roster or scheduling pickers.
  • Stay searchable from the Clients page when you toggle “Show archived.”
  • Keep their full session history, invoices, and notes.
